The Academy’s new Center of Technology

Last year a new technological center was opened at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. It was established with the assistance of the Ted Arison Family Foundation, Wolf and Ruth Lesser, the Bracha Foundation and the Planning and Budgeting Committee.  The center, located in the the New Wing, is headed by Prof. Amnon Wolman.  It includes a sophisticated recording studio, a general computer laboratory, a computer and multimedia laboratory, as well as rooms for private work.

המרכז החדש לטכנולוגיה במוסיקה ובמחול באקדמיה

בשנה שעברה נחנך באקדמיה מרכז חדש לטכנולוגיה במוסיקה ובמחול, אשר הוקם בסיוע הקרן המשפחתית ע“ש תד אריסון, וולף ורות לסר, קרן ברכה והות"ת. המרכז, שבראשו עומד פרופ' אמנון וולמן, כולל סטודיו הקלטות משוכלל, מעבדת מחשבים כללית, מעבדת מחשבים ומולטימדיה מיועדת, וחדרים לעבודה אישית.

התפתחות מקצועית בהוראת תחומי האמנות - שנת הוראה ראשונה לאחר שנת ההתמחות

לכל המורים למוזיקה ולמחול, 
אנו שמחים להודיע כי בשנת הלימודים תשע"ד יפתח באקדמיה למוזיקה ולמחול בירושלים קורס למורים מתחילים שנה א' מיוחד לאמנויות המוזיקה והמחול.
הקורס יעסוק במגוון התחומים הנוגעים לשלב הכניסה למקצוע ההוראה, החל בתחום הדעת עצמו, בהצעות לדרכי תיווך, מערכים ותכניות לימודים, דרך התחום החינוכי והארגוני, וכלה בתחום האישי הרגשי. הקורס יתמקד בתרומתם הייחודית, כמו גם בצרכים הייחודיים של מורי האמנויות באשר הם.

New in the Music Education Department

A new stream is opening in the Music Education Department, to prepare performers to teach their instruments both in small groups (within the public schools) and in Individual lessons (in Conservatories, community centers and schools).
The courses open to graduates and fourth year's students in the Performing Arts Faculty.
