Professor Dalia Cohen, musicologist and educator, of the staunch nucleus of the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, has been named a recipient of the 2012 Israel Prize for her achievement in the field of music research.

The Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance is excited to announce the launch of a new Bachelor's degree program (B.Mus) with a specialization in Musical Theatre.
The program includes a primary focus on vocal performance within the Cross-Disciplinary Performance: Vocal Track – alongside studies in acting, dance, and musical theatre courses.

The Performing Arts and Composition Faculty at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance is glad to announce the opening of a class for Organ performance. The teacher that was selected is Ms. Julia Shmelkina, a graduate of the Moscow State Conservatory named after Tchaikovsky (organ performance and musicology). She will join the Jerusalem Academy faculty in the 2025-26 academic year. Shmelkina has twenty-years experience in organ teaching and performing, and is a winner of international competitions.
