During the academic year, a psychologist from the Academy will be available to students at no cost for advice and immediate assistance. The psychologist’s help can be sought on matters affecting learning function, and guidance on seeking further help is given if necessary. To arrange a meeting, leave a message with personal details (there is no need to go through the Dean). If the request is urgent, state this. The Academy and the Hebrew University Student Counselling Services have an agreement on providing students with psychological advice and help. The team includes psychologists, social workers and psychiatrists, who specialize inter alia in providing immediate psychological treatment in times of crisis, individual psychotherapy, couples and family counselling, group therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and psychiatric treatment.

Students who wish to apply independently for treatment may do so. A referral from the Academy is not required.

The Hebrew University Counselling Services are located in the Meyersdorf (Resnick) Dormitories, Building 10, first floor, Mount Scopus. To book an appointment, go to the offices during reception hours, Sunday-Thursday, 08:30-13:00. Telephone for clarifications: 02-5881699.
