The  Weimar-Jerusalem Project is a unique German-Israeli collaboration. The orchestra, a joint undertaking of the Weimar and Jerusalem Academies, half of the players being Israeli and half of them German, is setting out on a concert tour that will begin in Germany and end in Israel. The program is a story in sound, dedicated to the history of Jewish composers in central Europe from the end of the 18^th century up to the Holocaust, the event that would sever the continuity of their involvement and contribution.
