Tami Stronach was born in Iran to archeologist parents, an Israeli mother and a Scottish Father. She is interested in the beauty that can emerge from unlikely intersections both in art and life and works to create environments that invite people to exercise their own creativity.

Her “highly imaginative” dance theater works deftly combine acting, movement and set design. She graduated from SUNY Purchase College with a BFA in Dance and holds an MFA in Dance from Hollins/ADF. She was a member of the Neta Dance Company and the Flying Machine physical theater group for 7 years while founding her own critically acclaimed dance theater company Tami Stronach Dance (TSD).
