Dance Technology courses are now a requisite focus throughout Europe and the United States to equip their students with competitive career advantages.  The immediacy, convenience, and “on demand” of audience engagement has become increasingly necessary in our present culture, with its expectation of maximal return for minimal personal investment.

Michelle Fletcher has started a crowdfunding campaign in order to fund additional film equipment needed for the courses she will give in JAMD.

Michelle Fletcher lives in San Francisco, participating fully in the San Francisco art community as a choreographer, director, mentor, dancer, teacher, studio coordinator, filmmaker, tour manager and writer. Fletcher works with multi-discipline artists as a coach/director and teaches at The Margaret Jenkins Dance Lab in San Francisco – home to cutting edge artists.  Widely recognized for her installation, multi-media, post-modern experiments and research driven work, Fletcher has enjoyed considerable attention in the printed and virtual press. The company (HNDC) is engaged to perform in venues across the country and internationally, and Fletcher has received numerous awards including The Zellerbach Family Foundation and a CHIME grant via Margaret Jenkins’ Dance Lab.

Fletcher received her BFA from North Carolina School of the Arts and her MFA from Florida State University.
