Yoram Zerbib, born in Israel in 1965, began his guitar studies in the Ashdod (Israel) music conservatory, later on when he was 15 years old he was accepted to the class of Joseph Urshalmi (teacher at the Music Academy in Jerusalem). In 1986 at the age of 21 he moved to Paris and began his studies under the famous Spanish Maestro Alberto Ponce in the Alfred Cortot Ecole Normale of music in Paris, which he later graduated from (Diplôme Supérieur d'Exécution).

He won first prize in the International Guitar Festival, held in Tel Aviv in 1992. He also won Second prize in the Renee Bartoli international competition, held in France in 1991, and was a Finalist of the Alessandria international competition, held in Italy in 1991; a competition which was dedicated to the great Spanish composer Juaquin Rodrigo.

In 2002-2003 he was sent abroad by the Culture Department in the Foreign Affairs' office on a concert tour, during which he played as a soloist with various orchestras such as the Mexico Philharmonic and Chamber Orchestras, the Nini Novgorod Kremlin Orchestra in Russia, the Tbilisi Chamber Orchestra in Georgia, the Philharmonic Orchestra of Odessa in the Ukraine, and the Commits Quartet in Armenia. He also gave recitals, and master classes. All together he performed in Russia, the Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, France, Italy, England, Germany, Mexico, Guatemala, South America, Mozambique, and Botswana.

In recent years he performed in Israel as a soloist with various orchestras such as: The Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra, The Israeli Chamber Orchestra in Tel Aviv, The Israeli Simphonic Orchestra of Beer Shiva, The Israeli Kibutzit Orchestra, and The Chamber Orchestra of Ashdod.

In collaboration with other artists he created various programs, in which he made most of the arrangements. The most important and popular ones are: A duo program dedicated to Spanish music, along with the well known guitarist Yossi Urshalmi, a duo program dedicated to the virtuoso composer Nicolo Paganini, along with the famous violinist Motti Shmidt, A guitar program dedicated to Italian music of different periods accompanied by a quartet of bow instruments, and an "Alegra" trio dedicated to Spanish and South American music along with the soprano singer Yasmin Navot and the violinist Andrian Youstus.

Along with his various activities as a guitar player he teaches classical guitar at the Rubin Music and Dance Academy at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He also teaches classical guitar and manages the guitar department of "Acadma" conservatory in Ashdod.
