Acoustic and electric Bass player. Studied at “Berklee College of Music” in Boston for which he received a scholarship and graduated with Diploma “Summa Cum Laude”. Graduated from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance with B.Mus Yorai has played with the world's top jazz artists, including Jeff "Tain" Watts, Mike Stern, David Liebman, Kenny Warner, Dewey Redman, Frank Gambale and others.

He performed at international jazz festivals such as Montreux, Montreux, Nice, Montreal, Ravena, Achen, Red sea, Beijing, Siena. Played in numerous shows & recordings with leading Israeli artists, among them: Arik Einstien, Yoni Rechter, Noa (Achinoam Nini), Rami Kleinstein, and with Gidi Gov in his successful T.V. show - "Layla Gov". Yorai has played with the "Isreli philharmonic Orchestra" and also as a soloist in a Jazz trio format with the "Israel Kibbutz Orchestra" and the New Chamber Orchestra of Potsdam.

Currently, Yorai is teaching jazz studies at the Berklee affiliated "Rimon School Of Jazz & Contemporary music" and at the "Jerusalem Academy Of Music and Dance". He remains working as a freelance musician playing on different gigs, recordings and T.V. shows
