The Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance is pleased to announce the visit of a delegation of musicians from the National University of Music in Bucharest between 4.12.16 and 8.12.16. The delegation, headed by Prof. Diana Mos Rector of the University, will include musicians, among them Prof. Dan Dediu the former Rector, musicologist Prof. Valentina Sandu-Dediu and the six members of Ensemble Profil which focuses on performing contemporary music. They will give master classes, musicology lectures and two concerts of contemporary Romanian music (concerts open to the public).
On Thursday 8.12.16 the Israeli Conservatory of Music in Tel-Aviv (Striker) will host the delegation members, with the artistic coordination of the Meitar Ensemble.The delegation members will give master classes and a concert (concert open to the public).
This visit is a cooperation between the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance and the National University of Music in Bucharest and is sponsored by the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel-Aviv.
