The Faculty Of The Performing Arts

About the Faculty:

This faculty trains singers and instrumentalists in the various departments and prepares them for careers as soloists, orchestra players, chamber music instrumentalists, accompanists, and teachers of various instruments. The emphasis is on performance, not only in the individual classes for the main instruments but also in a variety of workshops (Baroque, contemporary music, opera, accompaniment of singers and musicians, etc.) and in performing bodies (the Academy Chamber Orchestra, the Academy Choir, the Academy Recorder  Ensemble, the Special Voice Ensemble, jazz workshops, etc.).
All of these prepare the student for future professional life.
