Elmar Fulda has directed opera and theatre at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein Düsseldorf-Duisburg, the Oper Leipzig, the Staatsoper Hannover and at theatres in Bern, Bremen, Darmstadt, Erfurt, Kassel, Würzburg und Lübeck. He became Professor at the Liszt
School of Music Weimar in 2005 where he is currently Director of the Opera School and the Thuringian Opera Studio. From 2010 to 2013 Elmar Fulda was a member of the School Management as Vice President, Performance Studies.
