Program:

The classical guitar has a relatively short history in the musical instrument world.   In its short time, the guitar has undergone a major evolution from its original design, especially in the past decades.
In this presentation Erez Perelman will cover the following topics:

1) History and tradition of the classical guitar

2) Construction overview with methods, materials and tools used in making a guitar, with real examples brought to see and hold

3) The evolution of the classical guitar from its original design to the most modern design.  A
demonstration of instruments made in these different designs will allow the audience to experience the difference in sound from these different instruments.

Guitars will be available to play and experience the differences from the different designs.
