The Position of Dean of Faculty of Dance includes teaching, enrichment and development of curricula, the advancement and promotion of the performance and choreography activities, and the promotion of the Jerusalem Academy as the leading academic artistic institution in dance and movement in Israel.
Scope:
Full time academic position. Rank will be determined according to the chosen applicant's qualifications and experience.
Requirements:
- Outstanding achievements in the art of dance or corresponding fields.
- Graduate degree. Preference will be given to candidates holding a doctorate and/or a professorship rank.
- Artistic/professional activity on an international level.
- Experience in leading pedagogic/academic processes in the realm of dance.
- Excellent inter-personal skills.
- Knowledge of the Hebrew language is important.
