Call for Position of Violin Instructor (tenure-track)

The Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance hereby announces the opening of a position for a Violin instructor, with the option for tenure.

Applicants must have proven vast experience in violin performance and instruction, in Israel and abroad.

The scope of the position and academic rank will be set in accordance with the candidate's qualifications.

Interested candidates may submit their application to violinsearch@jamd.ac.il no later than 22.5.23.

The initial application must include:

1. CV in English
2. Copies of diplomas and awards
3. Three letters of recommendation, sent directly to the search committee.
4. Links to concerts/recordings

Following the initial round of review, a short list of candidates will be invited to a second round that will include the following:

1. A personal interview with the search committee.
2. A 45-minute explained recital.
3. A master class with students of violin.

Travel and accommodation expenses will be borne by the candidate.
