Constructed 1864 by the Nashashibi family, purchased in 1924 by the renowned artist Anna Ticho and her husband ophthalmologist Dr Avraham Ticho, who was instrumental in the eradication of trachoma in Mandate Palestine.
The museum today houses the surgical instruments of Dr Ticho and the paintings of his wife Anna Ticho.
