James Inverne is the former Editor of Gramophone Magazine, Arts Correspondent for Time Magazine and CNN, and now runs a music consultancy which advises, manages or runs PR for some of the world's leading musicians and music institutions - among them, at various times, the Aspen Music Festival & School, Lang Lang, Julian Rachlin, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Royal Northern Sinfonia, American Symphony Orchestra, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Sony Classical, Carnegie Hall and others. He has run a successful chamber music series in London, and created a non-profit interfaith arts foundation in the UK. In addition, he has written five books, and his first play had its world premiere production, Off-Broadway, in February 2018.
