Prof. David Rose, Associate Professor of Viola at the State University of New York at Fredonia.

David Rose has served as a titled player of numerous orchestras, including Associate Principal of the Vancouver Symphony, Principal Viola of the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony, Acting Assistant Principal of the San Francisco Symphony. He was a member of the Pacific Baroque Orchestra (Vancouver) and has performed and toured with Toronto’s Tafelmusik. Mr. Rose is currently the principal viola of the G27 chamber orchestra in Toronto. His main teachers include Gerald Stanick, Stanley Ritchie and Atar Arad. Mr. Rose greatly enjoys teaching, and is currently Associate Professor of Viola at the State University of New York at Fredonia.
