Harvey Price is an associate professor of Music at the University of Delaware where he has been teaching for over 30 years.  Mr. Price teaches studio percussion lessons, directs the percussion ensemble, performs in the Faculty Jazz Quartet, and directs Delaware Steel. Mr. Price has a very active performing career both in the United States and abroad.  His freelance activities include performing with the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Opera Company of Philadelphia, Opera Delaware, and the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia.  In addition Mr. Price is an active jazz vibraphonist in the Philadelphia area. Most recently Mr. Price has performed concerts, clinics, and workshops at the University of Vienna, the JS Bach Music School in Vienna, the University of Trinidad and Tobago, and in Haifa, Israel.  Mr. Price is the project director of Peace Drums, a Peace Making project that has Arab and Jewish children playing in a steel band together in Israel.
